WHAT’S YOUR LIMITATIONS?
Where do they come from?
Where do they come from?
And the good news is that they are not permanent. However if you keep reinforcing your limitations (I’m stupid, I can’t learn this) you get to keep that limitation (e.i. you won’t learn anything new and you’re left feeling that you are in fact stupid.)
Personal limitations are most often described as the limits that a person has in regards to the people and environment around them such as boundaries. Sometimes personal limitations are also used to describe physical limitations (disabilities) such as an inability to see or inability to walk.
An example of a personal limitation might be someone who is uncomfortable helping friends financially. This is a personal limitation because there are plenty of people who will help their friends with financial troubles while others will not. Limitations can also be present in the amount that someone is willing to help. Every individual has their own personal limitations on what they are and are not willing to do for others, for themselves and for their environment.
Excuses = made up limitations
Most of your excuses for not to do things are actually made up limitations that’s holding you back from moving forward. Try to test one out for yourself… Maybe it’s: “I want to start my own business, but I don’t have enough money.” Alright let’s look at that, that is a convenient excuse not to start a business – but is it really true or is it part of a believe that maybe you don’t deserve to be as successful as other people, or that maybe you don’t have the strength and willpower to start a business? Try to think back of the first time you heard this, maybe in childhood or you watched your parents struggle with money?
